On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones ofÌýProfessor Jonathan Steinberg, who sadly passed away on March 5th, 2021.
Professor Steinberg was a valued member of our Board of Trustees from 2001 to 2010 and received an honorary degree from the University in 2019.ÌýWhile I, personally, did not have the pleasure of working together with Prof. Steinberg during his tenure as a Trustee, I know he was an appreciated and valued colleague.
Franklin University will always remain grateful to Prof. Steinberg for his generous donation of his research library, a collection of over 2000 volumes focusing on Switzerland and its history, politics, and culture.
