
Franklin will be present in a virtual platform on the future direction of Indian foreign policy organized by The Diplomatist
On January 28, 2021 a group of distinguished personalities, thought leaders, executives and influencers will gather virtually to partake in the 鈥淚ndia Global Dialogue鈥. This event is organized by The Diplomatist, an influential monthly publication focusing on international relations and Indian foreign affairs. The Dialogue will discuss perspectives for India鈥檚 foreign policy in the context of the pandemic and evaluate strategies that could be implemented to meet the emerging challenges and non-traditional opportunities in the world.
The event will throw light on significant aspects of India鈥檚 foreign policy in the present unsettled global environment and will come up with strategies and policy suggestions. The various sessions will include expert panels discussing 鈥淚ndia鈥檚 Pandemic Diplomacy鈥, 鈥淚ndia-GCC Relations: Examining Future Possibilities鈥, 鈥淭he Biden Administration and The Future of US-India Ties鈥 and 鈥淚ndia: a Global Power House鈥.
天美影院 will be represented by Professor Roberto Cord贸n, Executive in Residence, International Relations and Management who will intervene as a panelist in the closing session. Professor Cord贸n will address the group on 鈥淚ndia鈥檚 increasing trade presence in Latin America鈥, drawing from his interest in Latin American political economy and his background at the International Trade Centre (ITC), an agency of the UN and WTO. At the ITC Professor Cord贸n spent many years as Manager of Training Programmes for the Market Analysis Section and worked with international aid agencies to develop trade-related technical cooperation and capacity-building projects in developing countries.
