In addition to teaching at Franklin, Martin Bullock worked asÌýa researcherÌýat theÌýPädagogischerÌýHochschule ThurgauÌýas part ofÌýtheÌýresearch groupÌýinÌýDidactics for Natural Sciences of the University ofÌýKonstanz. His areas of researchÌýfor hisÌýdoctorateÌýinclude sustainabilityÌýand digitizationÌýin chemistry education, while his research for his MSE at SUPSI was focused onÌýoptimizingÌýwastewaterÌýtreatment methodsÌýwith activated carbon.ÌýA former Fulbright Fellow (Germany, 1992-1993), Martin has taught chemistry lecture and laboratory courses at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and Iowa State University as well as Franklin.ÌýHe is a member ofÌýthe American Chemical Society, the Swiss Chemical Society and theÌýSwiss Science Education Association.
