Meet Ashwini, New Impact Manager for City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley
Ashwini has over 7 years of experience in the education non-profit sector, where she designed and facilitated curriculums and learning experiences for ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº and educators, integrating social-emotional skills, youth voice, and leadership into different content areas. She is certified in project management, instructional design, and Google education, and has skills in instructional coaching, stakeholder relations, and classroom instruction. She also initiated a community center in a low-income neighborhood with her peers, providing after-school intervention and entrepreneurship mentorship, and managed fundraising, recruitment, and volunteer coordination.
She is passionate about empowering young learners and leaders to achieve their full potential and contribute to social change.
