Marist University offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

25% scholarships

A 25% tuition discount will be awarded to all admitted City Year applicants per year towards qualifying graduate and adult undergraduate programs.

City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff interested in these scholarships must complete the full application process for Marist University. There may be a supplementary application process for scholarship awards.

Scholarships are awarded to City Year AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.

Adult undergraduate ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº are defined as ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº who begin their Marist academic career at age 22 or older and who are applying through the office of adult undergraduate admission. Graduate ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº are ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº who are initiating an application for a stand-alone master’s degree through the office of graduate admission.

Final determination of eligibility is made by Marist University. These reduced tuition rates cannot be paired with any other Marist University discounts or scholarships.

To apply for the scholarship

To be considered for the scholarship, a service verification letter must be requested by emailing alumni@cityyear.org with “Marist University: service verification letter” in the subject line. Within the email, include the site where you served and dates of service. This letter will be sent to the admissions office on your behalf and added to your applicant file.
