Welcome back or welcome to Adventures at Franklin! This is my final post. It has been a wonderful experience, and for my last post, I want to provide some of my thoughts on graduating.

I am so happy for the experience of being a Franklin student for 3 and a half years. I have had many great adventures, and met so many wonderful people. I will look back at the memories and people that I have met with great fondness over the coming years.

I am relieved to be done. I managed my time extremely well over my last semester, so I was never too stressed but at the same time, the closer and closer it got to the end of the semester, the more I wanted to be finished.

I am anxious for the future. I took some time to decide my next steps, and now it is time to actually put what I planned into action. It is frightening, it is something new, and it is something unknown. In a pre-pandemic world it would have been difficult, but now there are so many uncertainties and it is a challenge. Life definitely does not get any easier after graduation. I have to make my own decisions now and I do not have the great and immediate support provided by the FUS community, but hopefully I can manage.

Despite the anxiety, I am hopeful. I know that what I obtained from my time at FUS will help me with my future. I am a better writer, a better speaker, more patient, more confident, and more resourceful than when I first stepped onto campus 3 and a half years ago, so I am hopeful that I can move onto the "real world" and do alright :)

My last word to Franklin students: enjoy the experience. It won't last forever, and once you are done, you have to face bigger challenges. Enjoy the experience, enjoy the highs and the lows, the obstacles, and take as much from it as you can.

Adventures at Franklin will return next semester with a new writer. This blog has been such a great experience for me. I have written 37 posts over the past year, and whenever I look back at them, I will remember my time as a FUS student. I hope this blog will continue to hold the stories for future Franklin generations.

Welcome back or welcome to Adventures at Franklin! Today, I provide the ULTIMATE list of resources for prospective students. This post is inspired by a previous post on Adventures at Franklin, entitled "Top Five Resources for Prospective Students", which came out in 2017. There are some things to update, but I also want to expand on that post and provide a list of resources in one space. I hope that this post will help prospective students to gain information about different resources at ��ӰԺ (FUS) without having to spend a lot of time going through the FUS website or other sites. Prospective students, I am basically doing the work of researching the things you need to know about FUS for you, so you're welcome ????

As mentioned, Top Five Resources for Prospective Students is the predecessor to this post, and it covers a lot of helpful information. This post first looks at different programs (3+1 with Emerson, Undergraduate, Graduate, Academic Travel) within FUS. Afterwards it looks at dining and housing, campus resources (libraries, OSL, Bursars, Registrar), Lugano and Switzerland, and finally admissions/contact information.

Life at FUS: Here's a great feature where you can chat with current students (I will be among the list of students you can chat with until I graduate). You can also read about safety and security, student activities and clubs on campus, and student support.

In general, the FUS website is a great resource. Another resource (and 1 that I used) is Adventures at Franklin. This blog was created in 2013, has had 6 different authors, and has 130 posts covering life at FUS. Here are some of the most informative posts about life as a student here.

"During the regular academic year, students have a wealth of resources available to help them succeed. One of these is the language tutors at the Writing and Learning Center (WLC). These tutors hold regular, weekly tutoring sessions with groups of students from the various language classes, tutoring students up to the 300 level. During the summer, however, these sorts of resources are cut down, as there are also not too many students taking language classes. Yet, this summer, a couple students decided to change that, with Vasco Aguglia offering tutoring to interested students taking Italian classes and Rim Maslouh supporting students taking French classes. Anushka Bagde, on the other hand, held group tutoring and study sessions to help motivate students of any subject. Listen to today’s episode to learn more about how the project went for Rim!"
